93 Ford F150 Alternator Issues
Hey guys. I replaced my alternator a few weeks ago and it went bad. It showed 14 volts after installed. I replaced it again yesterday and it will not charge. My voltage meter on my dash is not working and has not worked in a while. I have checked the fusible link at the starter relay. Is there any way to check the alternator at the alternator while its on the truck?

Is there any way to check the alternator at the alternator while its on the trucks check your grounds 90 of electrical problems are caused by bad grounds.

Oh no. It was so much worse than that. I did not realize that my meter did not automatically swap from Ac to Dc and when I saw that I tried it in Dc and bam, it was working all along. ******* cannot read a meter even though I am an electrician. LOL
