Just fixed 4x4, now getting random ABS warning light

I just fixed my 2001 F150 XLT SuperCrew 5.4l's 4x4 system. This is a link to that post and photos of the work I performed...

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...crew-5-4l.html

The day after fixing my truck I noticed the ABS warning light was on. I came home and plugged in a code reader. no faults were shown, but the light mysteriously went out. I did not notice any weird stuff with the brake pedal such as pulsing or anything at any time.

The next day I went about 30 miles and the ABS light came on again. It was on for about 5 miles or so, then went off again. I have not started it since earlier today, but the ABS light was off last time it was running.

I know absolutely nothing about ABS systems. I have been a motorcycle mechanic many years. I have dealt with trucks and motorcycles with ABS systems but have never had to deal with them other than bleeding fluid.

Any ideas from anyone out there?

if you disconnected the two pin plug at the wheel hub, check that.. not a good connection. possibly one of the pins got bent or pushed back into the elect plug

Thanks. Good advice. I did not work anywhere near the wheels on the last job. I was mainly under the dash. I took the driver side dash apart so I could reach in and get the transfer case switching module. I was also under the hood near the rear of the battery where the 4x4 switching electric/vacuum solenoids are. I replaced some small pieces of vacuum line that were rubber couplers (old and cracked) and the vacuum check valve by the solenoids.

I've heard of problems with corrosion in the ABS computer on the connector with the power on it.
