Ford L8000 vin decode
Sorry but I just don't have anything reliable for '90 and up. Some of this stuff doesn't change, and maybe some carried over. This will be based on the '80-'89 MPC copyrighted in '93. I'll note the "maybe" stuff.
1FT = Ford Motor Co. USA, truck, incomplete vehicle.
X = Class 7--26,001-33,000 lbs GVWR, air brakes
R82 = LN800 diesel starting for '87 model year. Looks like it carries through. Also badged as L or LN8000.
A = Again starting in '87: Ford 7.8 L six cylinder diesel engine. New Holland/Brazilian engine if that code held over to '90.
3 = Ford use check digit. Ignore.
L = Model year 1990
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
A39441 = Serial number
150 = 150 inch wheelbase
R82300
R82 = LN800 diesel
300 = 30,000 lbs GVWR.
NA8 I do not have that info so no guess, other than the "8" pretty much always means cab and chassis vehicle.
FS = Fuller model RT-6610 ten speed transmission. (Maybe, if that code carried over)
2G = Rockwell model RS-20-145 single speed rear axle, 21,000 lbs capacity, 4.56 ratio. (This code started in '87, and the GAWR matches your lable. Might be good)
No front axle code. Listed at 9,000 lbs on the label. This was a special order truck, so that axle might be part of the special order
No paint code. Looks like the standard white but paint could have been part of the special order if it has something other than white on it.
025174
02 = Not listed.
25 = Richmond District Sales Office. Does that make sense?
174 = Special order number?
Based on prior decodes, IF it's Richmond and 174 is the actual special order number, the tag should read: 250174.

NA in the body code is not listed in my book either
Richmond is not listed as a district in my book, but it states if all numbers are listed in the DSO space it is a special ordered truck
The wording Truck Tractor and short 150” wheel base leads me to believe this truck came with a 5th wheel for pulling semi trailers, this would also explain the use of the 10 spd transmission versus the normal 5 or 6 spd commonly found in these trucks
That truck was built on May 22, 1990 for TNT/Reddaway Truck Lines. All the details available if you google "www.dtnaecomponents.com", then click on Ford Heavy Truck icon, then go to bottom of page and click on "Bill of Materials". Then look at LVA block and search for your LVA39441 - bingo, every thing to build that vehicle. Lots of manuals and stuff too on the Ford page!
I went there and SHAZAM! It's a miracle!

Once you scroll down in the LVA section from the left margin, you'll find your VIN and all the info darn near down to the nut and bolt level.

Hi from Bavaria (belongs to Germany)
I looked mine up SVA03711, it's not there.
I found the signs USN under the hood. That means probably US Navy, or? So it could be that these VIN's are not listed.
Does someone knew more?
