Platinum or limited have 2 headlights that "bend" as you drive.
Lower level trims just have 4 LED
Lowest just have 2 helagon headlights.

I've got an email into Headlight Revolution... hopefully they are familiar with the Ford XL lights, and can steer me right. I just drove back from NV to TX, and those factory lights just don't cut it.

I think that's the right move. LED replacements are of all different types depending on what sort of housing/lens you have. I have seen some really poor applications...

There’s a post on here somewhere that shows exactly what bulbs to get for high beams, low beams, turn signals, side markers, tail lights, backup lights, 3rd brake light, and license plate lights. There’s working Amazon links to all of them, too. I used those links and replaced all of my XL’s bulbs except the 3rd tail lights and license plate light. So far they all work great. I’m not very good at all the linking stuff in forums or I’d give you a shortcut to that post. I’m sure someone can find it for you if you have any trouble.
