Depends if you have halogen or LED. Several with halogen have switched them to LED and there are a few choices for that. If you have LED, make sure they are properly adjusted and that will make a world of difference.
Are you sure its not the battery or alternator. Halogen bulbs will dim as they age. As I have gotten older I do prefer leds headlight and that is what run and they are much better.
These right here, amazing price and quality, name brand. I have ran these for 6 months, install, adjust down 1/2 turn and you should be good. I do tons of night driving and have never been flashed using these.

I have halogen now. If going to led will a canbus adapter be required?
Some who have switched to LED reported flashing or blinking over the years. Seems to vary with bulb brand. Usually the seller will send you "decoders" at no charge if there's a problem.
Before I got a factory LED headlight truck I've used Beamtech and Hikari lights from Amazon with no problems at all.
As others have stated make sure you adjust so that oncoming drivers aren't blinded. Here's a video from Headlight Revolution where I found some adjustment suggestions:
If you go LED, DO NOT buy junk bulbs from fleaBay or Amazon. Spend the money and get quality bulbs that are actually designed correctly for halogen housings. Headlight Revolution is a great source. There might be a couple others.
Halogen to LED is a NIGHT AND DAY difference, let me tell ya'.
I’m running LED bulbs and like them. Links below to my reviews. I am running a mix of both bulbs in Low beam / High beam position.
Worth mentioning - I have not adjusted the stock headlight positions, and the hot spots picked up by the camera aren’t picked up by the naked eye - they don’t really look like that in person.
The combo of the LED headlight bulbs and the SS3 Pro fogs is very good. I like light, the more the better, I am no longer feeling a need for more forward light.
I'd love to go led but I'm not sure of the process. Do I need something to keep them from flashing?
Not much of a process. Remove old bulbs. Install new. I already mentioned 2 brands that I had zero problems with. No decoders or load balancers were necessary. Hikari was the better of the two. I did this with 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2022 models.
You may be over thinking this.
LED headlights make a huge difference. I swapped out the halogen for Morimotos in my old F150 and the stock 2024 LEDs in my F250 are just as good. Don't think they are available yet on the 2023+ SD trucks.
