Hope the pics help, it does receive supply from the water pump. Return has a 'T' into the coolant expansion tank.

Thanks Hit Man X.

Do you remember roughly how much coolant you had to drain to install the filter setup? Or did you do a complete change out of the coolant?

Honestly cannot recall, I probably should add some SCAs actually as that coolant is getting pretty old.

Sounds like something I added when I switched over to Fleetcharge purple.

When I did my tstat housing, it was about 2 gallons to fill back up. IIRC
