Cruise Control, Not Working.
Hello, I'm trying to diagnose why my cruise control doesn't work. From what I've seen there is a way to enter a diagnostic mode. However, when I hold the off button and turn the key to on. Nothing happens. I can't determine where the indicator light on the dash is. I checked the switch on the master cylinder by putting a light across the prongs of the switch. The light went on and off with the brake pedal being depressed and released. I believe that means the switch is working, correct? Any help would be gr e atly appreciated.

I forgot to mention the year. It's a 96 XLT 4x4. I may not have the light. I dont see any inidcarion of a light on the dash.
