Born and raised... you rebels
might be miserable but I could sure as schitt show you how to drive in it when an inch down south shuts everything down, as the snow goes flying over the hood during the lake effect snow falls. It gets even crazier on the east end of Lake Ontario, it never freezes because its too deep, Syracuse and the area gets even more snow than Buffalo.

Glad I have Aluminum body, so don't get the underhood all gunked up. Though even its only 7 months old, its a mess under the hood. I need to wash it before I take it apart for the DPK this weekend. The front though, its speckled red from all the bugs on Star White.

Im not sure you would. That warm wet snow down south is different then the powder lake effect snow you get up there.
I have personally seen Canadians laugh at Ohio’s 3” snow fall and try to drive in it.
It didn’t work.
Edit, I understand you are just having fun here and that’s fine, just wanted to point out that it really is different.
Here's mine. Obviously not as modded up as others here... lol! Shown here, the only changes are the S&B CAI and the CAC pipe as well as the S&S DPK. Since this photo I have also added the Banks MAP sensor relocation/spacer, a couple of AGM's and I added the Air Sock over the S&B filter. I am planning to redo the CCV soon as I am coming up on my 60k service. Of course there are plenty of other things I would like to do too... maybe one day!

It may be almost stock but you definitely get the award for "Best Photo Composition"
Great lighting, great angle, clear as can be. Well done

We just got in our new F150 for our supervisor's vehicle. The 23 Tahoe 5.3 we have currently is going through about 1 quart per 1k to 1.5k miles with 43k miles. The Captain wants to get rid of it when the truck is ready in the fall.
Anyways, it's being sent for Line-X on the bed and he also inquired about Line-Xing the inside wheel wells but the guy said that they don't recommend it because for some reason, the Line-X starts coming off. Weird.
So the collusion shop that does our police vehicle decals for the marked units said there are plastic liners available for the new F150s, so it'll get a set.
I recently was talking with a random dude at my local NAPA who had an Alumina Duty 6.7, like a 17 or 19 I believe, and as we were talking, I noticed that in the wheel wells the white paint was gone and saw what looked to be a beige colored primer IIRC. So apparently the stones and other debris is sanding off paint in those aluminum wheel wells.
But yes, agreed on the aluminum body over my steel body. But due to my Overkill OCD, I'd still get it oiled like my 16... yep, already know you sprayed yours with WW.

We've gotten plenty of heavy wet snow... plowed many, many times in parking lots pushing that schitt. Our snow goes from that to the very light fluffy stuff that falls when its well under freezing and humidity is low.
I know some southern states get snow, no doubt...
Then there's the dreaded pink areas on the radar thats freezing rain or hail that can cause the frozen road surfaces known as black ice which will cause anything to slip and slide, no matter what...
Some years back, pulled out of my street, which the direction I turn, goes downhill at a pretty good angle. I was locked in 1st gear I believe, maybe 2nd, when i pulled out to go to the stop sign at the intersection when she was going down and I had zero control... you know what was puckered.
Obviously was not stopping and someone from above was looking out for me... I was good on the right because I could see the bridge to the right but the left was obstructed by a building right on the corner. A car was coming but thankfully was far enough away that I get across unscathed.
To be honest though, at the end of winter, I'm ready for spring but not real hot temps yet... give me 50s and 60s for awhile with some sunshine but spring here sucks... Plenty of clouds and rain...
Besides, northern deer get bigger than southern deer...

Northern Deer do get bigger, true statement, but the bag limit is 3 a day, Sooo
Define hot yankee, 70 is cool

Those deer in the northern territories in Canada get even bigger... but seen some large deer here also. Ohio with all the farmland and good eating get large as well...
Hot to me is in the 80s with high humidity... cannot **** ing stand muggy weather. I'd take 70 to 75 low humidity all summer...
But this is just me... we have folks here who whine about how cold it is when it's not hot and muggy. Then beyotch and moan about winter... its like its Buffalo. This happens every year... some folks ain't happy unless they are complaining about something I guess...

When it snowed and Houston February 2021, I had an '03 Silverado 1/2 ton with 4wd. People freaked out and the whole city shut down. The woman I was married to got a call from the Hospital begging her to come to work; i said "Sure no problem!" I flew up the freeway at 70mph while folks were creeping along at 10 mph. The look of shock on their face was priceless. They marveled but none of them figured out that I knew how to use 4wd
