when I was serving I had a pair of ammo boots for the parades, thick solid leather soles with iron underneath so you saw sparks at night. They were older than me, made in 1955, and I gave them away when I left in 2001.

Close up of the note to myself when I had the Mishi can in and I removed it it from the truck to drain and clean it. I also had to pull off the return oil cap for the FS2500... forgot it a few times... hence the note.

Different ball game here in the north with the salt in the winter. That oil helps keep corrosion at bay...
