P0346

2009 f250 superduty 5.4 3v. Engine is new reman with 1000mi on it. I'm getting an intermittent P0346 code. No other codes. I can clear it and it will remain gone for days. Truck runs fine. Idle s, drives as our should, etc. I replaced the cam sensor in bank 2. No change.

should I be worried? And what may be causing this? I believe the wiring is all good as it is clean and factory bundled work no damage spots, etc.

Just because wiring looks good doesn't mean it actually is, especially since the harness has been moved for the engine replacement it could have a broken wire inside the insulation.

A quality scan tool should show data and what it saw upon the failure to set the code, start there. New sensor doesn't always mean good sensor and if it's good it can only sense what it sees.
