Hi, I have a 66 F100 that i purchased last fall. 83k orig miles and in very clean shape. It was somewhat restored but not to my quality. So the previous owner installed a retro sound radio and a set of speakers in the door access panels. I personally don't like the speakers in the access panels and want to return them to solid panels. I plan on installing a speaker in the dash. I have a dash with no pad but has slots in the top of the dash where a speaker once was. There are 4 screw holes onside the slots I measure the holes and they measure 4 3/8 i really don't want to do any drilling in the dash. I was looking at the D-572 UK speaker from retro sound to install. Just asking is there a way to adapt the mounting holes or brackets that are available to retrofit the speaker to under the dash. Has anyone done this or have info that would be greatly appreciated.
