Anyone had this code before? It jerks then loses all throttle control. Still idles fine. But have to shut off and restart then its good for another couple days or longer and randomly does it again.
I'm gonna pull the PCM and wiggle all the wires and look for anything corroded. Need to check ground all ground straps too.
When my 2005 E350 w/5.4 gas engine did something similar it was the electronic throttle body, the ECM was functioning perfectly. IMy DTC's pointed to it but they did cite "forced idle", "throttle body stuck closed" "throttle body stuck open". Just like your's mine remained running, a quick shut down and immediate restart had me back on the road until it happened again at some point, never the dame duration in between or noticeable symptoms preceding the subsequent failure(s).
An OEM part was just under $220, in local stock no less March of 2022

I would sure be deep into a 2011 PCED myself, doing pinpoint tests for code U0300
Could just be a wiring issue on the comm link
Pinpoint tests are your friend
The PCED is your friend
Might still need a throttle body, but you need to jump through the hoops

Ok, thanks for the heads up MM. I'll look into that too.
Broke down yesterday, with possible fuel pump symptoms. But last year I did new OEM fuel pump assembly and fuel pump driver module. I swapped for another used module last night and no change. It starts up, everytime but dies right away. No codes either. I'm somehow thinking this symptom is related to the software code previously posted. I ordered the OEM shop manuals on flash drive but it won't be here for days. I also ordered a new OEM throttle body just in case.
