Can you confirm that on the 1961, the brake shoes are identical front and rear ? On the LMC website, they are only present on the rear, on the Dennis Carpenter website, there is no distinction between front and rear, so I don't really know... I haven't taken the brakes apart yet to look and sometimes the differences are minimal and difficult to find but enough so that they can't be fitted.
The front and rear are both 11", but the front is 2" wide and the rear is 1.82". #228 front and #55 rear.
