Question about brake shoes

Can you confirm that on the 1961, the brake shoes are identical front and rear ? On the LMC website, they are only present on the rear, on the Dennis Carpenter website, there is no distinction between front and rear, so I don't really know... I haven't taken the brakes apart yet to look and sometimes the differences are minimal and difficult to find but enough so that they can't be fitted.

The front and rear are both 11", but the front is 2" wide and the rear is 1.82". #228 front and #55 rear.

I haven't been able to find them on spare parts sales sites... at worst I'll just replace the linings

What does "#228 front and #55 rear " mean ? I'm in the metric system and I don't always understand everything with the measurements in inches, and so I don't really understand the #

I looked in your post about brakes but I only found for the drums not for the shoes, my English is very average so I may have missed something...

Aaaahhh what a load of **** ! I just checked at Rockauto, and they have some! It's the English/French translation that's crap, it says segments instead of brake shoes...
