Same here. The test of running the old TW tunes I’d had in the past was very short lived.

Not hating on the guy. He was very helpful 20 years ago when I was getting acquainted with the 7.3. I’m just not running his tunes any longer.

So is the ICP better or worse? Mine does drop on PHP tunes when using the hotter ones, don’t remember which levels. I don’t typically monitor it much. I assume my ICP drops on TW as well but never checked.

Did you have a decrease in injector noise and less smoke as well? Just curious if your situation matched mine.
—the added noise I was wondering if may be advanced timing.

I think the only TW tune that was “quiet” was the economy version and that one was sort of anemic IIRC. The PHP Fuel Sipper still has the go when you crowd the pedal.
Very hard to tell Jason. It looks like they are pretty close. The PW and ICP directly related. The problem is that I did my first testing with OBDLINK software at 1ms sample rate with TW tunes and the second testing of PHP tunes with Forscan at about .2ms. If I understand it all correctly.
PHP 65DD seems quieter and very little smoke and 100 performance was about like TW Street tune.
So it looks like this: TW Economy 3.5ms to 4.17ms @ 2450ICP is very close to PHP65 DD 4.1-4.17 PW @ 2350ICP and TW DD 4.5-5ms to PHP 100 Performance 4.7ms @ 2100ICP. Stock HPOP with 255k miles.

I find PHP tunes to be the quietest but don't know the reasoning. They are not the least smokey though, but you guys also have different setups. I can't run PHP tunes currently as they don't work well with CNC Injectors.
Performance wise, i haven't liked PHP tunes since I got custom tunes from Bill pre-Hydra. Ever since he quit working with the public directly and we only have access to his canned tunes; I've had odd experiences and prefer others tunes.

I can agree with John though that daily tunes which should be around 80 are my most used. I would say 65-80 is probably the sweet spot for all around normal use.

I was supposed to get a set of TW tunes from Bill years ago but he never sent them. They should have been comparable to Bills but maybe slightly more aggressive.
My current favorite are Gearhead tunes and I really like Jody's (DP) current tunes.
SDK are okay but Dan doesn't seem to eager to help. They are pretty good as all current tunes are overall. Most of my issues are quirks in shifting...whether it be shifting or downshifting.
AA tunes are really nice but he's currently having issues getting my tunes dialed in but we're working on it.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, GH and DP have been the best for getting revisions taken care of right away. In your case, you should be pretty good right out of the gate
