I just installed my kit on my 40' gooseneck car trailer. A few notes to maybe help future searchers....

The harness is pretty short. I didn't measure exactly, but it only goes about 2/3 of the way to my axles. Not sure it matters. I would have preferred it closer since I also have all steel LR G tires.

I was unable to get the system to learn the sensors when the trailer setup was Gooseneck. It would go into the mode and honk when you triggered one, but never move the next sensor. I deleted all my trailers and just used default and it took just fine. I then put my other settings in, but I left trailer type as conventional since I was out of time for the day. I don't know what all this effects, I don't use my pro backup assist and don't have BLIS sensors so I am pretty sure I just don't care.

SO the system works great, even with the module relatively far away from the axles and with sensors inside steel tires. Being able to see it on the dash without a separate app or box is pretty nice and long term, the internal sensors will be much more reliable compared to the valve stem ones.

Just put it in tow/haul mode, even when not towing.

The truck reads the trailer TPMS info from there and displays in your gauge cluster when selected. If your truck wasn't equipped from the factory, a dealer may need to turn on the feature for you, or maybe it can be done via FORScan. Of course, it may automatically work too as soon as the equipment is hooked up.

If you only want trailer TPMS, this is the bare-bones minimum kit you need: https://nicholsmanufacturingandweldi...4-tpms-sensors
Thank you very much!

Adding trailers easier and cheaper if you just need to buy tire sensors.
GM is the same, just add sensors in the trailer, go through the walk around procedure and the truck does the rest.

I just installed the base kit to use for TPMS only. Overall, very simple install. I had the sensors installed in my non steel RV wheels, got a deal at $40 for 4 wheels to break the bead and install. I did have the wheels removed from the trailer though. Got everything mounted up and connected. With everything plugged up, went into settings and set up the trailer sensors. I did have the Ford TPMS learning tool and did not have to do pressure drop method. Each wheel took the prompt without issue. Once programmed everything was sinked and displayed as it should be with both pressure and temps displayed.
Havant towed yet, but pretty stoked that I can now watch the status on the display without having keep an extra eye on my phone. I had previously the "tirelink" set up and hated that you can only monitor thru the phone as a separate device while driving.

Yup, integration into the gauge cluster is a game-changer.

I did upgrade the sensors and still don't get temp on them... the only thing I can think is I need to change the receiver as well. Does someone have the part number for the newest version of the TPMS receiver?

That would have to be a really old sensor. Even the one I installed on my horse trailer in 2020. That did not show temp on my 2020 truck, shows temps on my 2023 truck.
I'm not sure that Ford offered Trailer TPMS kits for 2019 and older trucks.

I have the latest sensors installed now but am not getting temp. the only thing left is the receiver... I want to buy one but can't seem to figure out the current part number for it. Does anyone have that number? I spent a while searching the forum but can't find it.

Had trailer TPMS on my 19, didn't show temp (XLT). I am still using those sensors from 2019 and my cluster now shows temp on my 23 without doing anything special.

Are you sure you have the latest Ford sensors? How do you know? If I were to buy any system components, it would either be from Ford or Nichols Manufacturing.
