Ac

I'm in the process of reserecting my father's 1981 f100 , I've got it running finally and I turned the air on . Got very little volume of air coming out and what is is warm.
Where do I start as far as getting a back running again?
Thanks in advance

How long since the AC was last known to work? If several years, chances are good the system will need a full vacuum evacuation and recharge. But before doing that, I'd take care of the low airflow. Even if properly charged, there's no way to get adequate cooling if the airflow is restricted.

Also, do you know if this is factory or dealer-installed AC? Huge differences between the versions.

Please see this recent thread, Post #4 shows a picture of factory AC components. Post #5 has details about how to restore normal airflow:

The most likely clog point is downstream of the fan. This is a known problem area. Go to the link mentioned above and follow those links for more details.
