This may be rather lengthy but here is what I got. 93 F350 7.5 gas. The truck was parked for a while. Replaced the fuel tank, fuel pump and fuel filter. Removed all injectors, soaked in Chemtool, hooked up to fuel pump with a pigtail and tested all of them. Re-installed with ne O-rings. Removed plenum re-sealed, re-installed. New plugs, cap, rotor button, wires. Old plugs looked horrible. Rewired TPS (something chewed the wires up) with new pigtail. Chased and repaired vaccuum lines. Even used smoke machine. No visible leaks, Good fuel pressure. Now the problem.........the truck will not accelerate, it spits, sputters and dies. Will not pull a hill. If you can get it going it runs fine just stutters when you accelerate. ANY IDEAS?
Test fuel pressure. I recently went thru 2 pumps on a truck I was repairing from sitting before I got one that worked properly. The first pump showed pressure at the tank, but it couldn't even push the gas up to the engine. The second pump did what you are describing, it showed good pressure at the rail and it idled fine, but it would not let the truck accelerate. Tested pressure good at idle, but when I goosed the throttle, the pressure dropped.

Thanks. I am going to check it but not sure if that will be the problem. I drove it on the interstate Saturday for the second time and it will run 80 no problem
No codes. Its not OBD II so I will have to get my adapter but the check engine light is not on. Not familiar with an intake pressure sensor. Is that the MAP sensor? TPS had to replace the pigtail because something chewed the wires up. There was enough left to tell which wire went where but the color code on the new wiring is different. Fuel pressure is 30-40 psi
