Picture is of electrical component under charge air pipe on my 2004 Powerstroke 6.0. Electrical connecter on sensor is cracked and I need to replace it. I've done a bunch of searches, but I am not even sure what to call it.
It appears to be the throttle body the '04's came with. You can actually remove the butterfly inside and call it good. I actually removed the entire throttle body as it serves NO purpose and most program updates removed it from the strategy years ago. I purchased a nice SS rounded elbow with vacuum ports and it bolts right to the manifold, if you choose to ditch the throttle assembly. Your '04 elbow is restrictive and squared internally.
I am sure someone else will chime in. As for the connector, I would not worry about it.
