I've never been successful with my vacuum bleeder, and have heard of people get air into the MC with a pressure bleeder (I've never personally used one). But a method that never fails me is the old gravity bleed. Get the 7 dollar kit at an Auto parts store and hook it up at each wheel. Clear line to the bottle from the bleeder screw, which you may need that plastic needle thing to stick into the bleeder screw tight. Open the bleeder screw and watch for bubbles. It is molasses slow, so be patient. Keep the MC topped off. It usually takes a full bottle before I find that pesky air bubble, but it will come out.
