LED RUNNING BOARD LIGHTS
Hey team. 2011 ford f150 xlt. Put led running board lights. I have done so many mods this was easy. WRONG. I'm just dumb perhaps. I saw a thread with these magical harness and I don't have them. I saw the thread with grey and violet tracer and the dome lights STOP working. I saw the thread with a solid purple wire on the passenger side door trim and wow that worked. Well until I hooked the other side and then not working. Put a meter on the purple wire and no power now. So if I blew a fuse I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE PURPLE WIRE IS FOR, does anyone else? All I want is for these to come with the door opening and then shut off. Lol. I'm at a loss anyone that can provide some thoughts or ideas much appreciated. And oh please don't forget I need to know what that solid purple wire does so I don't have to check every single fuse. Appreciate everyone hear and look forward to help. Thank you.
