Hinge Pins

Ok, so hinge Pins, how much of a PITA are they to replace, and where to get quality parts.

You might be better off replacing the entire hinge. You'll probably have to remove them anyway to grind or drill the heads off the pins.

I didn't think the pins were replaceable on a Ford hinge like they are on a Chevy. Done plenty of Chevys but always replaced the whole hinge on a Ford.

I don't think they are intended/designed with replaceable pins, but pin and bushing kits are available.

Now a Chevy on the other hand, I think some of them roll off the assembly line needing new pins and bushings. Oh and door handles. Those things fall apart quicker than a Dodge transmission.
