I think that I am going to have to have the King Pins replaced on my 77 F250 Lots of movement.
Has anyone had this done lately? Sure would like to know what dollares I'm looking at.(calif)
One word of advice....If you choose to change your own pins, make sure to have a big hammer, a ton of patience, and a realy good set of gloves. If you don't have good gloves you probably won't live long enough for the blisters to heal. It took me about a half a day to beat mine out. Those buggers are in there tight.
Some people heat them up with a torch to make it easier, but I don't use heat on anything connected to the frame. It's realy a matter of opinion......I'm just a little overly picky on frame, suspension, and steering parts.
