Had a curious issue yesterday and was wondering if any one else experienced it. I got in the truck to go to the store and realized the audio stopped working. It was fine earlier in the day. No AM,
FM, Sirius or USB. The radio system seemed to be off and would not turn. After trying everything I could think of I decided to do a system reset by disconnecting both batteries and reconnecting. That seemed to have worked. Had me really worried as I am leaving for a trip through Texas on Monday. Hope it does ok. Any one else have this anomaly?
Honestly, probably just a software glitch. I’ve had occasional issues, not too worrisome, where the left side speakers stop working, or CarPlay freezes, or the phone won’t connect properly. I think a reset can be done by holding the power button and the skip forward button simultaneously for 7-8 seconds. At least that works on mine. This can be done while driving, and it reboots the system but keeps your settings in-tact.

Was unaware of this reset trick. If it happens again will try it. Thanks.

This. I've had a couple glitches where something didn't turn on, and this always fixed it.
I've done that reset for when the central screen was stuck in a boot-up loop. Worked for that. Most recently my radio wouldn't turn off. Cycling the truck off and on worked for that. Not impressed with the various gremlins in the electronics but they all seem to be one-offs so far.
