engine looks pretty clean actually had a new timing set recently installed and a edlebrook intake had the truck since I was 15 just turned 18 and she got 12000 miles , but even with the lifter clack she would pull 18 lbs of vac
As long as your cylinders and pistons look good, you'll have no problem. It would have been nice to do a compression test before you tore it down, but you're committed now.
If it's got 12000 miles you have a big worry about that cam. If it's 120000 it's just worn out and you should look at the heads as FEs have a tendency to wear valve seats with out leaded gas.
