been away awhile!
I have been working my tail off truck sat for a few weeks, came home and fired it up the engine is knocking, #5 isolated by pulling injector plug.
Thought probable just an injector solenoid, so grabbed a new injector from napa, cleared out the cylinder and dropped it in, no change!
Move injector to #3 position, #3to #5 , no change, Pilled the glow plug, thinking maybe the tip broke off, nothing wrong there!
Had friend come over and listen to it, It feels like something is catching , motor cracks then a hard stop, then proceeds to turn over and fire up , buddy says turn it off, he thinks a wrist pin has come loose? 283k on a 7.3 ??

Kinda sounds like hydrolock. Pull the 42 pin connector and the glow plug. Crank it over and pray nothing sprays out.
