Boost problems?

I’m new here and I need some help. I’ve looked all over and haven’t found much information that leads me to a solution. I’ll try to give sufficient information

I have a 2019 F250, 6.7 powerstroke. 55k miles. Deleted.

When I first deleted the truck, I initially unplugged the EGR, and added aftermarket 5 inch exhaust..

One day started noticing the truck being VERY sluggish and not building boost as it should (less than 10psi on gauge) until you gave it more than half throttle then the gauge started showing around 30+psi but the truck didn’t respond as such (when typically it would pin you in your seat, it’s like there was no ACTUAL boost)

also noticed the sound of the exhaust, MUCH quieter than normal.. upon cold start , when the truck would hiss LOUDLY like a damn fighter jet (vane sweep?) —it would no longer have the volume nor the intensity of the hissing….. also no typical hiss when you start accelerating.

OKAY. Started digging around, changed the MAP sensor, nothing. Changed the MAF sensor, nothing. Checked for leaks nothing. Decided to remove the EGR completely… upon doing that, I removed the battery terminals, installed blocker plates and finished up. WHEN I started the truck up after the project it SCREAMED. Ran like a BEAST. sounded BEAUTIFULLY. FOR ABOUT 5 whole *** minutes, then back to its same ol sluggish ways.

it’s not throwing a single code. im so confused. Any help would be appreciated.

Since you seem to know your way around a tool box…here’s my recommendation's…go to post 25 of this thread and compare your airflow numbers to mine .the thread has air flow numbers of different air flow readings at different rpms at idle.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1753114-p2263-reduced-power-turbocharger-supercharger-boost-system-performance-5.html

What’s spooky about your situation is no codes are being mentioned…maybe since your emissions is modified the codes I am expecting are no longer monitored.

since you replaced your map and MAF sensor…assuming they were motorcraft and not internet krayco parts…you have IAT, ebp left for air flow. Me personally would compare ebp numbers. The ebp sensor is located on pax side to the left of the turbo as you look at the motor..almost near the firewall. It’s on a tube extension and you need two wrenches..one to hold the tube and the other to remove the sensor. But compare the numbers before you start to change parts.

Also, I am assuming you checked the underside of the cold side intercooler tube for cracks…the cracks is a very common problem…the underside of the tube will have an oily mess near any area that is cracked.

I currently do not have a way to monitor my EBP, but I have read about that being the culprit with other people with similar issues.

I assume this is the EBP sensor we’re referring too?
