I've posted this in the RV section also.
I have a 97 MH on an F53 chassis with the 460
after about 2 hours of driving I lose power and can't get over 2k rpm without the engine bucking and lighting the check engine light (OBD1).
If i shut it off for a minute or so all is ok when i restart it but varies for how long before I have to restart it.
I also get dieseling at low rpm but that i believe is a timing issue as the distributer bolt came loose and due to design of dog house i cant see the timing marks so it's not correct but reasonably close
fuel tank and pump are new, replaced late 2023.
mileage is 33k.
Sorry I can’t help but I think your thread needs moved to the 87-96 F-150 and larger F series section
The 460 was never used in the F-600 and larger trucks and I’m not sure if the HD429 and pickup 460 used the same fuel system and electrics
