It is March so I got Old Betsy out today. We've had rain so the salt was washed off the road. It was 38° but sunny with blue skies and the roads were dry. So I decided to run errands in my '54.
I sprayed starter fluid in the carb but it seemed empty. So I poured gas into the carb. It popped right off. I checked the brakes, brake lights and turn signals. All good.
Blue skies by the Ford dealership.
Speaking this Ford dealer in Lock Haven , Kevin BigWin tipped me off on this eBay item, a vintage key holder from a previous dealer at this location.
I had a lot of stops, one of which was at an Amish greenhouse/grocery store.
To get to the Amish greenhouse I had to drive by Grant Miller's estate. We stopped here during two Truckstocks. Grant died two years ago. His "garage" has been empty but today it looked filled with a mustang, two 63 split window Vettes, and a 59 or 60 Impala. The family built a "small" house for Grant's widow while his son took over the big house . Can you see the blue mustang?
Glad you opened you wallet and bought the cool keychain!

Now, about that "Mustang"... you're underestimating it just a bit. That's a gorgeous 1970 Boss 302 in Grabber Blue. Really nice car.
PS: Nice snag on the keychain. That's a cool piece!
Wayne, you have better eyes and better knowledge than I have!
What I would love to find is something from Kreider Motors from Manheim, PA where my grandfather bought my '54. I have never seen any of Kreider Motors paraphernalia on eBay or anywhere else.
I did contact the Manheim Historical Society for information. They replied that B.W. Kreider bought the Ford dealership in May 1948 and sold it in 1964.
I'm just a junk collector lol here is the key fobs for my small window then the brown leather is for my big window and the triangle Taylor Pontiac is for my wife's formula 350. I worked at Taylor Pontiac from 1989-1992
We still have a long time I think b4 spring type weather. Looks like a great time. Cant hardly wait!!
Same here. It was -2 degrees F here this morning. Over a foot of snow still on the ground. Roads are whitewashed with calcium chloride and salt. We have a ways to go before the antique's come out to play.

P.S. Theres also a guy I met in Hersey that does custom leather old-fashioned style leather key holders.
Abe,
I did a quick search in eBay using "Kreider Motors from Manheim, PA". A couple of interesting things came up, not your key case but I would save the SEARCH on eBay, if I was you, this way you'll get alerted if anything does pop up. Also hit the local area or junk or Antique stores and drop off some flyers that your looking for Kreider Motors from Manheim, PA stuff with your contact info on it!

John, good ideas. I'll take anything with Kreider Motors on it, not just key fobs.
The Manheim Historical Society is sending me copies of old Kreider Motors newspaper ads .
Abe you have me itching to get the F-2 out but then I look out the window and see the snow and sleet flying around outside. I think I'll need to wait a few more weeks and a couple of really good down pours to clean the roads off.

It's raining here but it is 58°. So I think our winter season is over. Although in Central PA we have gotten 3 feet in March in the past. Hopefully not this year. I did not dug out my snow thrower this year. I only used my back pack blower

Yeah, we've had some pretty good snow storms. I seem to remember getting a big one in mid May one year, it delayed opening day for the Brewers. Wisconsin can be warm and sunny one day and 6" of snow the next.
Well I'm on the other side of the spectrum, been driving mine since early November and can 'til probably Memorial Day before it heats up(not to mention high humidity) for the summer. I'm in N Central Florida. Love the morning cruises looking for a new breakfast spot somewhere.
