7.3 prolonged start
I have a 1996 7.3 and the last couple days I’ve been having starting issues. The engine turns over normally but just won’t catch and start. I’ll turn the key off and wait then try again and it will start. It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with engine temp as it’s happened dead cold and hot. It’s seems to start easier if I cycle through the glow plugs a few times (but like I said it happens hot or cold). Anyone had similar issues?

remove the UVCH connectors and ohm out the outer pins to ground. Should be 1 ohm
Does oil pressure come up fast on dash guage?
What is cranking RPM, needs 200
Have a scanner? Might need to see HPOP pressures.

These keep on glowing when the lamp is out, engine off and cold starts. Even my old MB Diesel does when the lamp is out.
You may also have a POS starter combined with janky cables
Can you post any clip of it cranking? A weak starter is audible
