My 2001 7.3 powerstroke will not start when it is cold and I just replaced the glowpligs with Bosch and I replaced the gpr. Is there anything else I can check or replace or did I buy the wrong brand glow plugs. Thank you
Well, it used to be recommended to stick with Motorcraft GP's because aftermarket plugs could stick in the head if you had to replace them later. Are you getting any white smoke when you crank it over?

ok I did not know that I have drove tde truck probably 100 miles since the change and no trouble. I do get a little bit of white smoke when cranking
There are 2 big posts on the GPR. What I do when it goes bad, I take a screwdriver, preferably one that you're not necessarily fond of, and arc across those posts for about 30 seconds or so, then hop in the truck and start it. If that works, then you likely have a bad GPR.

is it possible that I got a bad gpr because I already did replace it and the glowplugs seem to work just not enough to start the truck
If it's a bad Glow plug relay OR a bad airbox heater relay (which CAN cause a no-start for some reason - still not sure why but my FIL fought this issue for most of a winter until we figured it out), there may not be any DTCs.
