Shifter moving with steering wheel help??
360 with C4 transmission and having an issue with the shifter moving when turning the steering wheel. It’ll pop out of drive into neutral from drive when straightening the wheel after a right hand turn. Any ideas??

I would take a look at the shift linkage at the end of your steering shaft near the rag joint and your selector on the transmission to make sure they look ok first, as this is the easiest things to look at, but I suspect your issue may be in your steering column where your shift selector arm is. There is a plate there that helps keep the selector arm in its proper position. Here is a thread with pictures that show the selector plate and shift selector. If this is worn it may be your issue.

Shift lever
Take a close of the body mounts. They have probably collapsed to a point that the steering shaft is dragging inside the shift tube. The rag joint is being stressed causing the problem.
