They seem fiddly. Just passed 100 miles on my 2024 King Ranch & have been confused on the dome lights as well. There is a button up behind the sunglasses holder. It was working for me when I took it for a drive today, but earlier sitting in the barn looking (not changing yet) at things with Forscan I noticed dome lights not working & couldn't find the button or get things to turn on opening up the door. Not sure if the button was pressed & I didn't realize it, or it's being erratic. Not even sure if the button retains state between ignition power cycles.
Either your not alone in it being confusing or fiddly, or both. Seen some other threads about people having legit failures in that circuit as well.
