Has nothing to do with anything on EBAY or this website. Just go to the hardware store and buy a short piece of steel angle, paint it, drill a hole for the lock to go through (measure the exact location of the lock so you can get it back ion the right place), rmove the bolt and lock pin and install the angle. Cost almost nothing and covers the lock so thieves can't get a screwdriver in to flip the lock open. Only need one to prevent the tailgate from opening.

I completely agree, simple to make. I was just giving people another option in case they don't want to fabricate anything.

Has anyone replaces the tail light screws with theft prevention screws?

The kit I referenced has theft deterrent screws but probably cheaper to buy screws separately.
