80-86 stepisde tailgate?

My brother in Cal. Found my flare side gate in the junk yard and sent it to me here in NC along with other flare side parts I needed.
Up to that point I was going to make one from the rear wall of my parts truck.
IIRC LMC has the flare side gate. Can't say how good they are as I don't have one and it was more money that I wanted to spend.

I knew people were asking $200-$300 for them, but I didn't know they were asking $500.
You can sometimes buy a whole Bullnose for $500.

So I have purchased the Mar-K one and can say it is of excellent quality. You are right though it does not have the ford lettering on it. I am having a friend make some vinyl sticker letters that match the original so it will still say it on there. But it is of much higher quality then LMC. I also emailed them and asked when they had some sales going on, and they emailed me a code for 25% off, which cut down the cost significantly.

My tailgate was the one single part of my Flareside bed that was in great condition, but I bought everything else from Mar-K, head board, front and rear sills, all three crossmembers, wooden blocks and hardware, and it was all very nice quality stuff. Expensive, but nice. Everything fit very well. I bought it all when they had a 20% off sale running.
