Rod clips for door locks

Hello. I am replacing my door locks and bought 2 new locks. But when replacing them both plastic rod clips on my 1986 f150 broke. I have search parts stores and places online but can't find the correct clips. The ones on the truck are different than anything I've seen onle. I'm unable to attach the rod to the new clips. Any help is much appreciated

Have you tried the retaining clips from LMC Truck? They have two different part numbers.
