Could my fuel sending unit be going out?
I have a 2015 6.7L it has a 50 gallon titan tank installed 3 years ago and was reflashed for the bigger tank
Stated my truck 2 weeks ago fuel light came on (no I usually don't let it come on but doing alot more driving) and truck said 80 miles to E
Made a stop re started truck and then it reads half a tank and 255 miles to E (miles to E were actually going up as I drove more)
Went to get fuel and I took 35 gallons out of the 50 my tank holds
Today I'm at a quarter tank says 92 miles to E
The information system says I've burned 27 gallons since last fill up and gone 317 miles on this tank miles to E seam to be dropping faster then actuall miles driving and gauge seams to be dropping faster then normal
Should I be prepared for having the tank dropped for a sending unit or what?
