I too received the TPMS & camera kit and do have PTBA. When I scroll to the temp readings, they are blank. I'm not sure if I have outdated sensors or what. Need to do more digging.
I don't think it's the sensors unless they're altogether the wrong frequency. In that case you would get nothing.
Good point, unless some sensors only read and send psi. Sorry @MKrenn I can't find any numbers for the ones I have, the installation manual just says "sensors". I've never had to call them, but I hear the people at Nichols are pretty good.
I would have to go out to the garage and run my Autel TS601 against my 2017 F-350's OEM sensors to confirm this but I'm pretty sure they send temperature. What I'm saying is that temperature has been a data point that sensors transmit and it's been that way for years. The sensors in the 2022+ trucks aren't anything new.
I've just gotten use to it since it's always been like that. To me, PSI is the most important info anyway. It's already saved the side of our 5th wheel once. Doubt I'll swap sensors until they run out of battery life....
Wondering if the Ford factory Trailer TPMS has an audible alarm setting for high pressure or high temperature alarm or just the notification on the display?
