Heated/Cooled Driver Seat - B272C - New TED's - Same Code
This forum has been very helpful! But I'm to the point where I can't find anymore information and need to ask.
Heated/cooled seats in an F350 Lariat with the driver side no longer working. Clicked, tried, stopped. Forscan says code B272C. Watching the temps, the back heats up, cushion doesn't. Ordered and installed new cushion TED. Same thing, back heats up then faults out. Weird thing is the temp doesn't change at all in the cushion whereas the back seems to fluctuate with me just sitting in the seat.
This might be a stupid question, but I can't find any information on it. Does the seat have a separate temperature sensor or is it built into the TED?
I wiggled all the wires and cleaned everything, but I guess I'll do that again. It might be helpful to know which wire is for the temperature sensor, then I could just hunt down all those connections. Anyone have that answer or diagram?
The driver's seat in my '17 has stopped working too. You can hit the ac button and you can hear the fan blowing, but they don't get cold. The heat doesn't work at all. Where does one locate a TED? I tried googling that awhile back and couldn't find anything.

There are 2 per seat, one in the bottom and one in the back. Here is the part# that comes up for the lower assembly on my '19, DU5Z19N550D.
