Need help with trailer strobes.
Hey folks just wondering if any of you can assist.
Ive got a 2017 F-250 and a 2024 Maxx-D dump trailer. I’m going to install reverse lights, side lights, and strobes on the trailer and I’d like to use the upfitter switches to control the strobes and reverse lights. I’d also like the reverse and side/fender lights to come on when put into reverse. If I can’t figure it out easily enough I may use a wireless remote for the strobes and run them off my two trailer batteries. How can I wire this up through my 7 pin if possible?

With the truck upfitter switches, you have to connect to the upfitter relay in the engine bay. You can't run just the trailer reverse lights and strobes through the trailer wiring and through an upfitter switch without a lot of re-wiring. An easy solution is to run an upfitter wire to the rear bumper and have a wiring connector for the trailer special for the reverse lights and strobes.
