Trailer lights only work when in reverse
Using my grandfather's 2013 f150 to tow a boat and noticed none of the lights worked on the trailer. When I backed the boat into the water I noticed the worked. After testing all blinkers and brake lights worked when the truck was in reverse, but not in drive, neutral or park. Anyone see this before? Tia

Check your ground. Hook up a jumper cable to a good ground on the truck and to the trailer ground.

Was the boat trailer equipped with a 4-pin or 6/7 pin lighting plug?
