Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The picture is much clearer now. I was under the impression the clutch, pulley, and magnetic disc were sold as an assembly and it's simply a bolt-on unit. Ford doesn't make it easy!

The new compressor should arrive today. Listed below the compressor are the components from your thread for the Magnetic Disc, Clutch Assy, and Pulley. Fortunately they are all available.

Since I will be having a local shop perform the AC work, I want to be sure they have all the hard to find OEM parts. Are there any small detail parts I should get, or could they re-use parts from the old assembly?

They just need to properly shim the clutch disc to the proper gap either with your old shims, with the new ones packaged with the replacement compressor, or a combination of both.

Thanks for the tip on the shims.

Just placed the order for the Magnetic Disc, Clutch Assy, and Pulley through Ford Parts Giant. They had all three components and their price was fair.

The only thing left to get now is the condenser. Last night I ordered the last OEM one available on Carid. The listing said they only had one left so I snagged it up. Hopefully they actually have it. So far I haven't received a tracking number but then, they said it would ship on Friday, tomorrow. I've placed so many orders in the past with various suppliers to only have my order cancelled because they didn't actually have the part available as advertised. Frustrating!

Prior to this I ordered a CSF condenser from Rock Auto and even though it was advertised as being black, it's actually silver so I returned it. Our grills are really large and it's easy to see a big silver sore thumb through there. I wanted black. I then ordered another from another vendor and even asked if it would be black. They said it should be. Well again it showed up in silver AND damaged. Instead of being rectangular, it arrived as a parallelogram. That won't work so I requested to return and a refund. That transaction is still in process of being reversed.

CSF may be a quality product but this is what I learned. They advertise a black painted condensor on their website and every vendor uses the same picture. Apparently they used to be black until Covid happened. This is what CSF told me on the phone. Also I discovered they are a Malaysian company with only sales and warehouses here in the USA. I asked to speak to engineering to learn if painting was an option. I was quickly told that painting the condenser would void its warranty. I then asked what kind of warranty it had and they said it would be handled by the distributor. See where I'm going here? Now CSF may or may not build these in Malaysia, my guess is there or China, but not having any support in the USA nor a firm warranty support concerns me. Especially as a main inline component of the air conditioning system. It's expensive to service an ac system and having to go in there again because of a faulty part is unacceptable. Shame on me for going aftermarket. Hence the reason I searched for the OEM condenser. To the credit of CSF, they are very nice on the phone, not forthcoming with information, but they do seem to answer questions honestly. Their product may be quality for some people but I'm not willing to chance it and to me, cosmetically being silver, it's a deal breaker.

Update Jan 26

As luck would have it, Carid didn’t have that last one after all so I cancelled the order rather than wait to see if they will ever get more. That’s not likely since they’re discontinued.
Rock Auto did show ONE available of a YJ594. I even emailed them and they said yes but I’ve been down that road before. I’ll report back if RA ships or cancels.

Instead of creating a new post, an update here will suffice. I actually found three OEM condensers under the part number YJ549. Two at dealers and one on eBay. I opted for the eBay one as the price was fair and if it’s damaged upon arrival, the seller will make good. They have a 100% rating.

Only thing else is the compressor pulley assembly coming from Ford Parts Giant. I must say, the ac compressor assembly has been the most complex parts to find with all the various numbers and versions available. I still haven’t figured out if the compressor for the F250 is the same as ours. You would think considering our trucks have a rear system, the compressor would have to have more flow in the system. If anyone knows, please let us know…
