7.3 excursion a/c problems
I HAVE A 2000 7.3 EXCURSION WITH DUAL A/C AND ON LONG TRIPS THE A/C FREEZES UP AND I HAVE TO TURN OFF FOR A FEW MINUTES AND IT WILL DEFROST AND START WORKING AGAIN. I HAVE HEARD THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM HAS ANYBODY FIGURED OUT AN INEXPENSIVE WAY TO FIX IT?

Is it the front air or rear air that freezes up?
On second thought, you may benefit from checking air compressor gap. It could be that the gap is too big especially if its both front and rear air.
