??? about part numbers - paging SubFord

I ordered a new A/C compressor from Rock Auto. Since this is a part that I do not want to fail anytime soon, I went with a Motorcraft compressor. The manual shows part #19703. The Motorcraft sticker on the box that I ordered from Rock Auto shows"5U2Z-19V703-GA". Yet, an ink stamp on the actual compressor shows"9U2J-19D629-AA".
SubFord - I remember a post a while ago where someone was inquiring about part numbers from an item on EBay, and you said something about some of the letters/numbers don't really refer to the actual part number, or something to that effect. I can't find that post, so I apologize that I'm asking for a repeat post. Do I have the correct compressor for a 96 F150 4.9L?

PS - On a side note, there is another sticker on the Motorcraft box: "Made In China"!!!!! What?!! Am I naive, or are Motorcraft parts made in China?

The 5U2Z-19V703-GA is a Ford part number for an A/C Compressor. I do not know if that one fits your truck or not. Part numbers have a "Z" as the last letter in the prefix.
Most truck part numbers have a "T" just before the "Z". Ford does not put part numbers on a part, just the box they come in.

The 9U2J-19D629-AA is an drawing or engineering number. They put that on the part.
