I just installed one of my new Bilstein 4600's (Part # 33-028187) on the driver's side front. After putting the tire back on and lowering the truck, I noticed that the boot is more "squished" than I would have expected. Pic below.
Here is a pic of the old shock and new shock sode by side. They were the same length.
The length when installed on my truck is 18.25" (bolt to bolt), meaning I'm about halfway between fully extended and fully compressed. Thoughts on if this is ok and acceptable? Thanks.
