If they fit your application the Bilstein 5100 are the best I've used on a 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. They ride a bit firmer but I like that as it makes the truck feel steady, especially when towing. I hated most "off road" shocks since they were very spongey feeling, even though the 5100 series is classified as off road I believe, but they don't feel floaty like most off road shocks. Just over $300 for a set of four. Good luck
I am looking to get new shocks for my 1971 F100 Sport Custom Longbed 360FE 2wd. I looked at an old forum and someone suggested these Bilstein B6 Shocks (F4-B46-1105-H1). Thoughts? Should I get different shocks for the front and the rear? I also have been checking out Bring a Trailer and a lot of folks use these KYB Excel G (KYB: 344071). My truck is my daily driver and I may take her into more rugged terrain but I'm not out there off-roading. Of course, driving through Atlanta roads makes me feel like it's off-road.....
I had a set of 9000 ranchos on my 2019 f250, one leaked in 200 miles and the others all had adjuster issues. Thru them in the trash and ordered a set of Carli shocks and they are great, firmer but Ok ride.
