Idatalink Maestro / Android Auto Question
Hey all! So I have a Kenwood DMX8709S installed with the Maestro RR in front of it. I noticed that when my truck is on the only way I can search in apps on Android Auto is with voice. I get the message 'voice only while driving. I know the Kenwood and see when the truck is in drive, park, etc as well as the vehicle speed. Has anyone found a way around this so you can type while the truck is moving?

Can't do that if your tapping away on your phone. You may want to win the Darwin award but those on the hwy around you probably don't so when you're driving. PUT THE PHONE DOWN!

Not once did I state that I wanted to text while driving. Apologies if that is the way it came off. What I was asking was if there was a way to not have to use the voice to text WHEN THE TRUCK IS NOT MOVING.
Perhaps next time ask for clarification rather than making assumptions.
