Thank you for checking. I actually found an OEM NOS (New Old Stock) on flebay. The OEM part number for anyone interested is "FRONT DOOR Window Regulator & Motor RIGHT - Ford (8C3Z-2523200-C)".
I had replaced the driver side when I bought this truck four years ago with the OEM and used an aftermarket on the passenger side. It's always bothered me that the passenger side actuation was considerably slower than the drivers so I decided to replace the passenger side again. OEM parts I have found have always out performed aftermarket so I've made it practice that any part I replace will be with an OEM whenever possible.
not to hijack the thread but, mine are working great when bringing the window down. but on its way up its really slow. do the regulators need to be replaced or maybe cleaned and greased?
Hard to tell. I've read several articles that say to spray silicone down the runners. I'm considering replacing the second row regulators and motors because they go up and down slowly. For the main reason they are 25 yrs old and the motors are bound to be old and may fail. OEM parts on our trucks are getting harder to locate and seemingly more exoensive by the day.
Probably not as the window sizes are not the same width, the regulator armature with glass affixer are all one assembly.
Looking at pics, they are different.
