That's a beautiful F-450 though. My dad's 2010 is by far a superior towing machine compared to my Excursion. I know you've done a lot of mods to make it a closer comparison, but I think you'll still enjoy the dually aspect.
My favorite part is the wide track front end, which makes turning a breeze.

That’s a Great Looking 👀 truck, wishing you all the best with it, I am sure you are anxious to get on the road and explore more of this great country. Just curious how long did it take after you ordered it to take delivery. My Explorer Platinum Hybrid took 9 months from the day we ordered it to the day we picked it up in October. Happy Trails!!!!!

I have done a lot of mods to my EX to make it a better tow rig, and it does do a great job for what it is but this 450 is a serious step up for towing. Yeah, for a long bed crew cab it can turn pretty tightly.

Thanks Prakash, yes we did do some splurging! The Lariat Ultimate has many many bells and whistles, it will take me some time to learn how everything works.

Thanks, we have been looking forward to this for a looong time!
We are actually walking out the door in 10 minutes to go talk to a dealer about the fiver we have our eye on.
Still haven’t figured out if we order it now or wait till the fall and continue to drag our current TT for this season.

Thanks. We are looking forward to our continued travels around the US and Canada with it. We ordered it on Nov 11, 2023 and it landed at the dealer on March 22, much quicker than I had prepared myself for.

Thanks Keith. Our EX has treated us very well, it will be missed for sure. Still looking at various fivers, we have our “must have” and “would like to have” lists, it’s hard to find a single unit that meets all or even most of those points. We are hoping to zero in on a very well appointed rig with as many of our list points as possible.
