Greetings-
IN a bit of an issue with a mechanic whom has swapped my original coyote 5.0 for a salvaged pull from a yard. Does not want to honor anything but I do have photos of the OEM motor including the original dipstick area and tube used to check oil. This guy thought I would not see the swap issue when I now have to check the oil from my driver side valve cover area.
Had the Gaul to charge me for a new Disp stick tube as well. Thankfully a dealer in El Paso had old information from a previous repair of a piston change on the original OEM motor at 119k. They've also verified that this motor since they had it for the piston repair over 7 yrs ago is in fact a DIFFERENT 5.0 motor.
I need help to differentiate the serial numbers on the block to verify for insurance purposes. Anyone have beta on where to find these stamped serials on the blocks?
