Does anyone have pictures that show the frame work between the cloth headliner and metal cabin roof to show how the plastic overhead console secures into place? Would be nice to also see the back overhead a/c controls too...
I really appreciate this. Is the frame work mechanically fastened with some screws into the support channels of the roof structure...or spot welded. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like a couple bolts/screws at the back portion of it. Does your Ex have the back overhead a/c controls which is separate from the main front overhead unit?
SO there would be no weldments securing the roof console to the cross braces as the console bracket is all plastic. The rear pod snaps into the rear of the plastic frame.
The circled section is for the rear pod to snap into, and the wires hanging belong to the pod too.
